By accessing or using Every Mile ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Every Mile is a running tracking application that helps you monitor the miles you accumulate on different pairs of shoes. The Service includes both web and mobile applications.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You're responsible for:

• Providing accurate information
• Maintaining the security of your password
• All activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscription Terms

Every Mile offers both free and paid subscription plans. Current plans and features are displayed in the app.

Paid subscriptions:

• Are billed at the frequency shown at time of purchase
• Automatically renew unless canceled
• Can be canceled at any time through your account settings
• Remain active until the end of your current billing period after cancellation

We reserve the right to change subscription plans, features, and pricing with 30 days' notice. Changes will take effect at your next renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload false or misleading information
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Access another user's account without permission
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the data you input into Every Mile (runs, shoe information, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

• Store and display your content within the Service
• Create backups to prevent data loss
• Delete your content if you delete your account

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Any defects will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

Every Mile is not medical or professional athletic advice. Always consult with appropriate professionals regarding your running and health decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Every Mile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• We may delete your data according to our data retention policies
• You won't be entitled to any refunds for unused subscription time

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
